Classic players
To get classic players such as Magic Johnson, go to "Manage Roster" and trade a player with an All-star team. They can be used for franchise mode.
Getting good players
In a quick game, pick your home team, then start a Virtual Slot Machine. You will get five random starters (unlocked and created team players can be used). Then, go to "Adjust Lineup" and substitute a player with a 90 or more rating for a player on your bench with a 60 rating. Do this as much as needed.
Easy baskets
Find a team with a small forward with good mid-range (for example, the Clippers, Sixers, Kings). Stand at the top of the 3 point line and call the pick and roll. When the pick comes, go left and the drive. If it works, your man will be out from the
pick and the small forwards man will step up to you, leaving the small forward open for an easy two, or if they have good, threes you can step outside.
Alley-oop
When your teammate is in position, press X + A to alley-oop the ball to him.
VC Team
Record 15 Triple-doubles to unlock the VC team.
Superstars team
Steal the ball a total of 100 times to unlock the Superstars Team.
Sophomore Class
Score a total of 500 points to unlock the Sophomore team.
Menu color 2
Finish a franchise mode season to unlock hidden menu color #2.
Bonus Street Court
Play in 20 street mode games to unlock a bonus street court.
Boss #1 court playable in street mode
Defeat the 1st 24/7 boss to unlock his court in street mode.
